Substance Source: Materials for Car Exteriors

Following the last week’s release of prototyping materials on Substance Source, Allegorithmic added more than 100 assets for car exteriors. The new collection will be perfect for real production models, racing games and other tasks. The fully tweakable procedural materials are said to reproduce the style and behavior of real-life materials.

Car Exterior Materials

The car exterior collection is divided into two parts. 100 of these are available right now, all of them are fully procedural with .sbs graphs for each goodie.

This week:

  • Car paint materials (MDL).
  • Rubber tire treads for cars, motorbikes, and bicycles.
  • Metallic and ceramic covers for grilles, chromes, rims, brakes, and chassis.
  • Translucent and emissive materials dedicated to texturing headlight and taillight modules.
