Summer Courses for Environment Artists from CGMA
25 May, 2017

Here’s the overview of the biggest summer online courses for environment artists from CG Master Academy. Really nice lessons from Ben Keeling, Jonathan Rush, Jeremy Huxley, Kurt Kupser, Clinton Crumpler, Boon Cotter and many others. Plus these are very affordable, if you compare them to other online boot camps

CG Master Academy, the leading online art school, is open for Summer Registration. This selection of courses and instructors is one of the most impressive and curated series of courses geared towards Environment Arts for Games available online. These courses are mentored by supervisors and lead artists from Naughty Dog, Blizzard, Riot, Treyarch, The Coalition, Sony Santa Monica and Microsoft Studios, to name a few–giving you access to some of the best artists no matter where you are in the world.

Each course is arranged in weekly segments, comprised of in-depth video lectures, assignments with individual video feedback from the instructor–this includes paint-overs and, in some cases, working directly with your assets–and a one-hour live Q&A session. The prices are ranging from $499-$998, for hands-on courses from 6 weeks to 10 weeks long. This is a great deal. Plus with CGMA you can pay in installments: 50% up front and 50% at a later date.

CGMA’s Environment Arts for Games teachers will share some of the tips and tricks they teach during these courses. You won’t see the full package here on, unfortunately, but you will get some decent info. All the people listed below will be sharing helpful tips and tricks and sharing video content from each of these courses with the community. Boon Cotter from Naughty Dog will talk about light? Count us in.
