If it easy to get Substance working with your Rome Fantasy packs after the changes to Substance? Do we still need to read instructions to get PostProcessing set up? Any other issues with installing your packs on Unity?
On June 13, the fifth contest of independent CIS games GTP Indie Cup Summer’18 began. All events are again held on the site of the cup, no additional costs are required. The developers have two months to submit their projects to the cup – the work is accepted until August 15. As always, the GTP Indie Cup is a great opportunity to show your game to industry experts, the press and publishers, get feedback and win valuable prizes.
The main innovation was the updated judging system. Competition projects will be evaluated on the basis of closed short-lists. Our jury are excellent professionals with extensive experience in the industry. But they are also volunteers, because the working schedule does not allow them to personally evaluate more than a hundred games for the season of the cup. So GTP Indie Cup Summer’18 focuses on quality – judges are given both a full list of participants and a shortlist of the most interesting projects of the competition, which are prepared by the organizers. The jury, in turn, will be able to better evaluate the selected projects, which will bring more benefits to the participants of the cup.
Contest games can still be submitted for 9 nominations: “Best PC-game”, “Best mobile game”, “Best VR-game”, “Best art”, “Streamer’s choice”, “Critic’s choice”, as well as three partner nomination – “The best game on Unreal Engine”, “The best game on Unity”, “The best game on Corona”. In addition, the team of judges again reinforced with new experts.
GTP Indie Cup Summer’18 schedule:
- June 13 – the beginning of acceptance of works;
- August 15 – the end of the work reception, the formation of short-sheets;
- September 2 – publication of the results of the cup.
