Superbloom is Hiring Artists and Engineers to Build the Next-Generation Games

Superbloom, a venture-backed, new mobile game studio founded by two female gaming veterans, reportedly works on new innovative and relaxing games for women. The founders announced that they're looking for creatives to join and empower the team. 

Superbloom is a remote-first, lifestyle mobile game studio founded by two female gaming veterans who previously held leadership roles at EA, Glu, New York Times, and Dots. With the recent hire of a Lead 3D Artist from Ubisoft, the Superbloom team has started to explore and test the concept of the studio’s first title that’s inspired by the real-life hobbies of women. The company is headquartered in New York and the team is distributed between the United States and Europe.

Senior Unity Engineer (remote)

Responsibilities

  • Working with the product team on planning, scoping, and building complex game features
  • Building a content and assets delivery pipeline using Unity Addressable System
  • Collaborating with the technical lead on designing the client architecture
  • Building reusable UI, setting up UI patterns and systems
  • Working with a 3rd party backend system, building server-driven features with good architecture in mind 

Senior Technical Artist (remote)

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the bridge between Art, Game Design, and Engineering teams, architecting and building the art pipeline solutions
  • Optimizing inefficient workflows and processes for Art and Engineering teams by creating automation tools with Unity Editor Scripting and Python
  • Building an assets delivery pipeline using Unity Addressable Assets System
  • Working on optimizing the assets for smooth delivery and performance on mobile devices
  • Creating and maintaining documentation standards and practices for tools, pipelines, and technical specifications
