Terminator 2 Trailer Reimagined by a Deepfake Artist
5 June, 2019

Ctrl Shift Face is a YouTube channel that creates various types of entertaining videos using deepfake technology. The video with Sylvester Stallone swapping with Arnold instantly received public attention.

Deepfake is an AI-driven face swapping method utilizing deep neural networks. The technology already exists to create convincing but inauthentic audio and video content, and those technologies are rapidly improving.

Here’s a short video explaining how deepfake really works:

Ctrl Shift Face came with an idea for his video in the light of the new upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate. Since the artist cannot monetize any videos on youtube because of copyright claims, you can consider supporting him on Patreon.

“Sarah Connor has returned from far away, and she’s gearing up with a team of agents who will fight against T-1000.”

What do you think about the new version of Terminator and what’s your favorite part of the iconic sci-fi franchise so far? What do you think about the future of Deepfake technology?
