Planetside Software has unveiled Terragen 4. New version includes a realtime ray-traced preview, realistic cloud shading model, enhanced atmosphere model, lens effects, improved render times, animation features for all versions, new and improved shaders, object sequence capabilities, etc.

Terragen 4 is available in Creative ($349) and Professional ($699) versions through permanent licensing. You can also get a free limited version. Faculty and students also have a chance to get it for free. Owners of previous versions of Terragen can upgrade at reduced prices.
