The game is set to be launched in 2023.
The team behind the racing game Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown announced that it won't be released until 2023. Previously, the game was supposed to be launched in September 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The developers say it was delayed "to make it the most polished gaming experience in the franchise by spending more time on its development."
Another change of plans comes to TDU's platforms: the creators decided not to develop it for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to make the most of the technology in the latest consoles and maximize the overall quality of the game.
The team also shared it is working on a schedule for closed betas but didn't reveal when exactly they will take place.
Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown offers "the environment reproduced at 1:1 scale, beautifully recreated cars, a realistic driving experience, social interactions with other players, a wide variety of races and game modes, and a major "lifestyle" component that goes beyond simple street battles on wheels."
