The Art of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Have a look at some of the magnificent shots from one of the most beautiful games in the series.

Call of Duty had a difficult ride. It started as a Medal of Honor competitor and quickly became the number one franchise in the industry, earning tons of money each year. The huge jump in profits happened during the release of Modern Warfare, which dominated Xbox Live and became a standard for modern FPS games (for better of for worse).

There were some obvious downfalls (Ghost) and there were some stunning wins (Infinite Warfare) during the lifecycle of this project. Today we’d like to revisit the amazing worlds of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and cherish the amazing beauty of this game (prompted by this NeoGAF thread).

A user Mechazawa shared some amazing screens from the game’s campaign.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare indeed has some absolutely amazing design. Here are some of the best works from environment, 3d and texture artists, who worked on this game. If should be said, that it wasn’t Infinity Ward alone, who worked on the game. It was a collaborative effort made possible by elite3d, Raven Software and a bunch of other contractors. They all helped to build this beauty.

We’re looking forward to seeing more of the Call of Duty franchise at E3 2017. Let’s hope the return to WWII will work. It worked with Battlefield 1, so we hope for the best.
