The Beloved Battlefield 3 Is Going to Be Delisted from Digital Stores

Along with two other Battlefield "legacy" titles.

Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that three titles from the Battlefield franchise will be delisted from digital storefronts from the end of this month. That's to say, starting from July 31st, players will no longer be able to purchase the following games or their DLCs:

Battlefield 3 (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)
Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)
Battlefield: Hardline (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)

Online services for these games on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will come to an end on November 7th, 2024. But don't worry, you can still enjoy the single-player modes after that date. On a positive note, there's no change for PC, Xbox One, or PS4 gamers as Battlefield 3, 4, and Hardline will continue to be playable on these platforms.

It's good to know that Battlefield 3 is currently running a 90% off summer sale on Steam, priced at just $3.99. Meanwhile, Battlefield 4 is available at an impressive 93% off, costing just $2.79. It's the ideal opportunity to own these iconic games if you haven't had them in the library yet.
