The Blender Foundation Shipped Blender 4.4.1 & LTS Updates

The first corrective release for the latest software version is here, bringing 108 bug fixes.

Blender 4.4.1, released a month after version 4.4, delivers 108 fixes, addressing a range of issues, from animation workflow and Grease Pencil behavior to various crash scenarios. As always, updating is strongly recommended to stay aligned with the latest changes and maintain a smoother, more stable workflow.

For a detailed overview, see the Blender 4.4.1 changelog here. Additionally, Blender's long-term support program, which aims to ensure that long-lasting projects can be executed via a stable version, has introduced two new releases, Blender LTS 4.2.9 and Blender LTS 3.6.22, featuring 15 and 6 fixes, respectively.

Blender recently invited the community to help test and refine Vulkan to make it production-ready. If you're interested, the developers welcome testing of the Vulkan backend in the current Blender 4.5 alpha builds, particularly feedback on stability, broken features, and any platform-specific issues.
