The team behind League of Legends shared a cool video on how they created their music hit called K/DA - POP/STARS.
The team didn't know anything about K-pop, but it was an amazing opportunity to surprise fans. They knew that their next event was going to be in Korea and that's why they decided to make a music video.
Basically, they started by researching everything there's to know about K-pop on YouTube. K-pop has so many flavors and it was incredibly difficult for developers to figure out the perfect direction, and they had to do it together.
The team had different layers of people working on the video: people working on the skins, the music side, and other aspects. The first iteration appeared to be too cute.
