Epic Games snatches another cool exclusive from Ubisoft. What will be the response from Valve?
Ubisoft and Epic Games are partnering to bring Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 to the Epic Games store. Players worldwide (except China) can start their pre-orders at epicgames.com, which also grants access to the Private Beta.
The upcoming online game will be supporting Ubisoft and Epic network ecosystems, so everything will be interconnected. Ubisoft and Epic Games also partnered on distributing other titles. This will be announced later this year.
We entrust Epic to deliver a smooth journey for our fans, from preordering the game and enjoying our Beta to the launch of Tom Clancys The Division 2 on March 15. Epic continues to disrupt the videogame industry, and their third party digital distribution model is the latest example, and something Ubisoft wants to support.
