Not only does Clash of Clans bring in the money, they are also dominating 85% of the Android game playing world to prove that they really are at the top of the mobile gaming industry. To further prove this fact, Supercell (creator of Clash of Clans) reported the revenue for the year of 2012 at $101 million and in 2013 they made $892 million. Since its appearance in 2012, they pretty much topped the iOS and Android charts.
If these numbers didn’t impress you, the revenue they made last year surely will. The number is $1.8 billion. If you break it down, that is about $5 million a day. These impressive numbers are sure to grow even more as Clash of Clans continues to become more and more popular. Also, Superdata Research recently reported a record for the US mobile game market with over 147 million smartphone and tablet users spending $380 million a month. That’s a huge market that doesn’t seem to stop growing. It is no wonder the fight to be king of the mobile game market is ongoing. Everybody wants to be on top.
