The Hong Kong-Looking Scene Made in Unreal Engine 5

The artist has used Epic Games' The City Sample to make this environment.

Senior Lighting/Lookdev Artist at Ninja Theory and a friend of 80 Level Pasquale Scionti, known for creating amazing environments using Unreal Engine, unveiled a magnificent new scene made using Epic Games' newly-released Unreal Engine 5.

To create the scene, the artist used The City Sample, an asset pack shared by Epic Games that contains numerous city assets from The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience. Pasquale also utilized UE5's Lumen and Nanite to make the streets of digital Hong Kong look more realistic. An HDR plug-in was also used by the author for this environment to set up the lighting.

As for right now, not much is known about the workflow behind this new project. The artist promises to reveal more details regarding the environment in the near future. You can visit Pasquale's Instagram and ArtStation pages so as not to miss any updates.
