The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild Trailer

During the E3 2016 event Nintendo has finally shown us a glimpse of the next Zelda game, which is actually called The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. We had a chance to check out some of the environments and enjoy the visual style of the game.

New Zelda is a very stylised game. Nintendo went into great depths to optimise the visuals and figure out how to make the open world run at a decent frame rate and still look beautiful. Overall the palette seems very warm, light, pastel-like. The dev played a lot with the scale, so the whole world seems incredibly big and there are hundreds of small regions to explore. Plus, all the elements are interactive. You can cut wood, turn water into ice, hunt, fight enemies, throw stones and so on.

In many ways Breath of The Wild reminds us of The Shadow of the Colossus. It’s a great looking game with new exciting gameplay. Looking forward to tell you more about it.
