Which is why we have made the decision to stop manufacturing new Xbox 360 consoles. We will continue to sell existing inventory of Xbox 360 consoles, with availability varying by country.
It is also said that Microsoft will continue maintaining all the Xbox Live services on Xbox 360, along with group chat, third-party apps, and apps like Games with Gold.
Microsoft launched The Xbox 360 in North America on November, 2005, then presented it to Europe and Japan. In mid-2013 it was stated that the Xbox 360 sold 78.2 million units globally.
