The Rookies, an International Awards for young designers, creators, innovators, and artists, is on! Judges are ready to discover talent emerging from higher education facilities and help launch them into careers at the world’s top studios.

The Rookies was originally founded by Andrew McDonald and Alwyn Hunt, who both worked in the Visual Effects Industry for over 11 years each working at some of the worlds top studios. The team now includes an impressive Advisory Board with experts in marketings, sales, event planning, and business. Established in 2009, 74 paid internships and over $900,000US in prizes has been already given away. You can find more details on the team here.

Here are the important dates of 2017:

07 March 2017 – Open for Submissions
29 May 2017 – Submissions Closed
21 June 2017 – Finalists Announced
7 July 2017 – Winners Announced
