This Cool Fluid Painter Blender Add-On Now Supports Seamless Looping

Miki3d's Fluid Painter add-on for painting realistic fluids over any 3D surface has been upgraded, adding several new features to fluid drop animation.

For those unaware, Fluid Painter is a Blender tool by a 3D Artist known as Miki3d that employs Geometry Nodes to make it easy to paint fluids onto any 3D surface using Curves. It allows for the creation of custom fluids simply by adding and drawing from over 30 included presets compatible with EEVEE and Cycles to produce neat fluid effects.

Fluid Painter 1.3 introduces two new features related to fluid drop animation. The first one allows seamless timeline looping, and the second one provides control over the start and stop of drop streaming.

Both of these features can essentially be enabled by toggling the Drop Loop and Drop Streaming options. It's a really simple and pretty much automatic process, synchronizing the start and the end frames of the drops with the timeline and updating the loop accordingly if the timeline's Start and End frames are changed. In case the Loop Start and End frames fall out from the synch with the timeline, there's a reset button to fix that issue.

To enable the controls of drop streaming, simply toggle the Drop Streaming flag, making Start and End inputs visible allowing you to adjust them however you like.

This add-on comes with an FAQ, tutorials, and documentation and is available at Blender Market at $7.90.
