This Keyboard Has a Screen Under the Keys Powered by Unreal Engine 5

Finalmouse's Centerpiece has its own GPU and CPU.

The RGB lighting is extremely common in nearly every part of any PC setup. Finalmouse takes customization a step further introducing Centerpiece – an incredible mechanical keyboard that has a whole display under the keys.

With interactive skins powered by Unreal Engine 5, Centerpiece uses its own GPU and CPU to keep itself working with a single USB-C cable.

This beautiful magic is possible thanks to Finalmouse's Laminated DisplayCircuit Glass Stack (LDGS), which offers typing acoustics and feel that is described as “soft marble raindrops”. Despite having glass inside, this patented technology makes the keyboard gamer-proof and allows it to "withstand intense abuse".

The developers promise a custom autolubed linear mechanical switch ensuring faster actuation and a hall effect analog switch option. "At 8khz with a non-matrix scanning architecture gamers can set their actuation and release point distance at industry best latency speeds."

You can choose one of the skins from the marketplace with Finalmouse's Steam app called The Freethinker Portal. Artists can offer their skins and even monetize them. You can switch the skins or turn the screen off using the buttons and the brightness knob placed on the right side of Centerpiece.

If you've set your mind on this beauty, get your money ready – the keyboard will cost $349 when it comes out in early 2023.
