Allen Pan, a Youtuber who makes surprisingly weird ideas real, turned a treadmill into a PS4 controller, so he can exercise while playing Death Stranding, the game where you mostly walk.
In the video, he shared how he got the idea that he can use a treadmill as a controller for Sam, showed engineering solutions to it and his first attempt at playing while walking and let his friends try it, too.
Even though he did make Sam walk by walking on a treadmill, he still had to control Sam’s shoulders, so he won’t fall down.
