it is really frustrating that half the article was posted and i cannot view the end of this article, every possible link on the page refers to the same url and that url is password protected. creation of a gametextures account will not get you access to the end of this page so don't hand them paypal info like I did just go blunder off through a youtube tutorial rather than this good-old-boy referral page

Tutorial: Stylized Fire Effect in UE4

Check out a nice tutorial on generating stylized effects in UE4 by UnrealCG. The guide shows the process of using the smoke texture from the starter pack to create different kinds of effects inside the engine. Take some time to watch the video and start building something cool.  

In this tutorial, I will show you how to make this stylized fire or some effect using the smoke texture from the starter content. This effect uses a technique called alpha erosion to decay the smoke particles.
