We’ve all spend Sunday evening watching Game of Thrones, let’s just admit it. But the amazing Claudio Clemente was doing something else, he was preparing to release his own version of the iconic character Tyrion Lannister. While the images may seem like a concept art, it is in fact done in 3D.

I am a big Game of Thrones fan so, I managed to finish this project I’ve been working for the past months in celebration of the new season that will start tonight. It’s a personal one I developed to test Marmoset Toolbag 3, and its materials.
Thank you for watching! I hope you will like it and please, leave me any comment! Working on this asset I learned so much and some of these details was so hard to be tweaked that I was forced to invent some trick to obtain a better result (without getting crazy…)
I would love to show you all of them. I’m now preparing some making of about it, together with some turntable and a marmoset viewer version with lighter textures. Thanx again and enjoy the next season of Game Of Thrones!!

Interestingly enough, this production doesn’t feature Marvelous Designer. I guess the jacket was done entirely in Photoshop and Substance Painter. What an outstanding work. And have you seen the skin and the hands? Good god. Realistic rendering has never been so unreal.

Check out Claodio’s Artstation page! Looking forward to that breakdown.
