Ubisoft+ Subscription Service Is Coming to Xbox

Ubisoft+ will offer the subscribers access to an extent game library, new releases, and monthly bonuses.

On Wednesday, Ubisoft announced it is bringing its Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox consoles. "Ultimately, we will offer the Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox owners so that they can enjoy the full extent of our Ubisoft+ game library, including new releases, on their consoles," said Chris Early, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Ubisoft.

Ubisoft+ was originally launched for PC and is currently available on cloud gaming services like Stadia, and Amazon Luna. It starts at $14.99 a month and offers over 100 Ubisoft titles to its subscribers including Assassins Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, Far Cry 6, and Riders Republic. The service also provides access to new releases, DLC, and monthly bonuses.

The publisher doesn't reveal the exact release date yet. We only know that it “will be coming to Xbox in the future,” as Ubisoft community manager Daniel O’Connor says. The pricing and the information on whether Ubisoft will offer a console-only plan also weren't provided.

Along with the news on the upcoming Ubisoft+ subscription service on Xbox, the publisher announced that Rainbow Six: Extraction will be coming to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at launch, on January 20.

Rainbow Six: Extraction is a tactical shooter that allows forming a squad of up to three players or playing alone. The game will be released on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
