Unity Asset Store publisher Devdog will launch the largest community-sponsored Christmas Giveaway Calendar the Unity game development scene has ever seen on Thursday, Dec. 1st.

With over 300 sponsored gifts worth over $14,000, the Christmas Giveaway Calendar promises participating game developers a chance to win an early Christmas present, such as conference tickets, best-selling Unity Assets, Unity Pro licenses, and much more.

Game developers have delivered hours on end of entertainment and joy to many a gamer on Christmas Day, but we believe it is time for the game developers themselves get an early Christmas present. Seeing powers from all areas of the games industry come together in support of our Christmas Giveaway has been absolutely amazing, and we’re looking forward to handing out the Christmas presents starting Dec. 1st.

The Christmas Calendar starts Dec. 1st and runs until Dec. 25th, each day seeing more and more presents added to the daily prize pool, and can be followed using the #UnityChristmas hashtag on Twitter.

Among the sponsors are industry powers such as Unity Technologies, PocketGamer Connects, Nordic Game Jam, and a whole sleeve of the best-selling Unity Asset Store publishers.
