V-Ray 5 for Unreal Update 1 Released

The update includes support of the LightMix Render Element and Skeletal Meshes as well as some minor fixes.

Chaos released the first update of V-Ray 5 for Unreal Engine. It now supports Unreal Engine 4.27 and provides initial support for Skeletal Meshes. The update also implemented LightMix render element and LightMix Source in V-Ray Frame Buffer, which allows users to relight a scene without re-rendering, with users able to adjust individual lights.

Aside from the upgrades, Chaos optimized interactive rendering performance and responsiveness.

While Chaos is upgrading V-Ray for some software, it also discontinues it for others. You can purchase V-Ray for Unreal Engine for $80/month or $219/year.
