Valve Will Be Giving Away 512GB Steam Deck

The most expensive version of Steam Deck will be given away every minute during The Game Awards broadcast.

The most expensive version of Steam Deck will be soon given away – to celebrate the upcoming The Game Awards and, as Valve notes, "gaming in general", the company will be broadcasting this year's ceremony on Steam and will be giving away one 512GB Steam Deck every minute to those who will join the live stream on the platform.

To take part in the giveaway, you have to register on the dedicated registration page and watch the Giveaway Broadcast while logged into your Steam account.

The giveaway will be available only to the USA, Canada, the UK, and European Union residents. In addition, Valve notes that only those who don't have any bans or restrictions and made a purchase from November 14, 2021 to November 14, 2022 are eligible to win a prize.

If you're from a region that is eligible for registration and have fulfilled all those conditions you will have a chance to get one 512GB Steam Deck for free. In addition, everyone who participated in the registration will receive an animated Steam Pal digital sticker.

The broadcast starts at 5:00 p.m. PST on Thursday, December 8. The winner will be announced every minute in the chat, so considering that the show will run for approximately 2.5 hours, Valve should give away at least 150 Steam Decks.
