Hum3D announced the winners of its fantastic spring contest called Video Game SuperStar Challenge. The contest was full of amazing works, creative ideas and ways to develop a theme. The judges chose three best works. It is worth noting that two winners made works with using 3D-Coat and V-ray, third place – with using Corona renderer.
Let’s take a look at the winners’ artworks:
First place is Chen Stormstout by Vladislav Dimant
Made with using 3D-Coat, 3ds max, V-ray, Ornatrix and Photoshop. Excellent all around – beautiful composition, great use of DoF, lovely materials, environment and attention to detail. You can see his WIP on the forum.
Second place is Incredible Mario by Sedat Açıklar
Made with using Zbrush, 3D-Coat, UVLayout, Substance Painter, 3DsMax, V-ray and Photoshop. You can see the WIP on the forum.
Third place is Heart of Darkness by Evgeniy Shatohin
Made with using 3ds max, Mudbox, Corona renderer, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter and Photoshop. You can see the WIP on the Behance.
