WipeOut Intro Remade with Modern Visuals

Check out this cinematic remake of the 1995 WipeOut intro by Benjamin Brosdau.

Benjamin Brosdau shared a cinematic remake of 1995 WipeOut's intro. WipeOut is a futuristic racing video game developed and published by Psygnosis. It is the first game in the Wipeout series. It was originally released in 1995 for PlayStation and MS-DOS, and later in 1996 for Sega Saturn, being a launch title for the PlayStation in Europe.

The original intro:

"I originally started to work on that way back in 2009 but dropped the project for various reasons.
In 2021 I got back to it after finding some old files related to it on my hard drives. I built everything new from scratch, of course, technology has come so much further in the meantime as well. It uses a few kitbash sets, which was not really a thing back in 2009. It was done predominantly in 3ds Max and V-Ray, with additional stuff from Houdini and RenderMan," writes the author.
