Working With MetaHuman Assets in Houdini's KineFX

Michael Goldfarb shared an in-depth presentation on animating Unreal Engine's MetaHumans in Houdini.

SideFX's Training Lead Michael Goldfarb has recently shared a comprehensive presentation dedicated to the MetaHuman+Houdini animation workflow.

In this presentation, Michael provided an overview of Unreal Engine's MetaHuman and Houdini's rigging and animation framework and toolset KineFX, explained how to export MetaHuman assets from Unreal and import them into Houdini, showed how to retarget and loop animation onto your digital humans using KineFX's tools, demonstrated how to create a ragdoll animation to add more dynamic behavior, and showcased the process of exporting the results back into Unreal to use in your projects.
