Congrats to the latest recipients of Epic MegaGrant.
Developer Wysilab has been awarded an Epic MegaGrant to support the creation of a new plugin for a live link between the terrain generator and UE4. The team didn't reveal the size of the award.
Wysilab is the latest commercial tools developer to get funding from Epic Games’ $100 million MegaGrants initiative. Previously, Epic granted the $200,000 award to Maxon earlier this month.
The team will use the money to strengthen integration between Unreal Engine and their tools helping users implement Instant Terra, Wysilab's terrain tool, for games and other real-time projects.
They will develop a new live link plugin that will let users make changes to settings inside Instant Terra and see the results in Unreal Engine in real-time.
