Xbox Moments of E3 2018
10 June, 2018

Let’s continue the party with the Xbox conference. Halo Infinite, Fallout 76, SEKIRO: Shadows Die Twice, a new game in the Life is Strange universe, and more world exclusives.

Master Chief is back in Halo Infinite. Microsoft launched the show with a beautiful trailer for a new part of one of the most beloved game series. Halo Infinite is powered by a new game engine developed by 343 Industries, known as the Slipspace Engine. The team states that all of the scenes in the Halo Infinite trailer were running in the engine.

Halo Infinite will feature a new art style that draws significant inspiration from the most iconic and historic parts of the Halo franchise and your feedback, all while modernizing and taking advantage of the full power of the Xbox One family. The new Master Chief helmet directly showcases our new art style.

The team also heard feedback loud and clear on the amount of time spent playing as the Master Chief in Halo 5. In Halo Infinite, the game will focus on the Master Chief and continue his saga after the events of Halo 5. So expect to play as Master Chief more in Infinite than in Guardians.

 343 Industries

Phil Spencer welcomed the fans of Xbox and talked about all the power and potential of the Microsoft’s console. 50 games, 18 exclusives, 15 world exclusives. Something is coming.

A colorful trailer for Ori and Will of the Wisps continued the show. A marvelous palette creates stunning visuals that make you want to experience this tale.

FromSoftware is back with SEKIRO: Shadow Die Twice. The developer teamed up with publisher Activision to release the game. Microsoft provided the first look at the bloody action game. The game’s world looks like a version of feudal Japan mixed with FromSoftware’s well-known combat action and difficulty.

Todd Howard is here! The man himself decided to join the party just a couple of hours ago before Bethesda’s conference for an exclusive first look at Fallout 76. 4-times the size of Fallout 4, West Virginia. Enjoy the ride.

The Life is Strange universe is back with The Awesome Adventure of Captain Spirit! Available for free on June 26th. The trailer is so stunning that you don’t have words to describe it, just watch. “We’ve all flown a spaceship to unexplored planets. We’ve all fought monsters and unleashed our super powers because we’ve all been children.”

Artyom, Massive Attack and a dangerous frozen world in a new gameplay video for Metro Exodus. Some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. vibes here:

The magic of Disney and Kindom Hearts 3. Mike Wazowski will visit your consoles next year:

HUGE NEWS. Ninja Theory joined Microsoft along with 4 other studios to develop titles exclusively for the company’s platforms.

Forza Horizon 4 was one of the guests with the world premiere at the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing. The new part will feature changing seasons in Britain, and that’s definitely something new for the series. The game come with the Xbox Game Pass subscription service at launch on Oct. 2, 2018:

A major surprise is that Ubisoft decided to show the first trailer and the first gameplay demo of Washington in Division 2 at Xbox event. March 15, 2019. The Division 2 will take place in a fallen Washington, D.C., seven months after the outbreak began and the story of the first game.

Agents are now the only to fight a new civil war in the United States which was first shown in a trailer and a gameplay demo during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

The demo showed some heavily vegetated areas in Washington, D.C. so overgrown that is was hard to tell if that’s a city at all. Then the team made its way into a museum and found a Christmas tree. Thee met a small group of survivors who asked the team to find medicine for a sick child.

And then…just enjoy some gameplay.

Devil May Cry is finally back with Capcom returning with the original approach for the fifth part. Can’t wait to kill some demons. Is it Dante, by the way? What’s the story?

One more huge and wonderful surprise. This time, from Techland. Dying Light is finally back for the second part! Enjoy the first trailer and some gameplay.

What is happening? Battletoads will come back next year. WHAT?

One more game from Avalanche. Just Cause is better than ever. How big is that studio?

Gears Pop…Well, that’s an interesting way to surprise fans…

…But that’s not it. Meet Gears Tactics…

And finally, welcome, Gears 5. The series’ biggest game is here with more action than you expect.

Yeah, one more thing. We’ve been waiting for you, Cyberpunk.

Well, the team is also working on the next console. Not a surprise, huh? The conference was huge. What are your thoughts?
