Xiaomi presented their vision of what smart glasses should look like.
Xiaomi has announced a pair of smart glasses called Xiaomi Smart Glasses. According to the announcement trailer, the glasses are capable of supporting AR features, have a monochrome MicroLED system, 2.4mm x 2.02mm display, peak brightness of 2 million nits, weighing 51 grams. From this description, one might assume that these glasses will make Facebook’s Ray-Bans bite the dust, but there is one small thing that one should consider – Xiaomi Smart Glasses exist only as a concept, no working prototypes were shown.
That said, the announcement clearly indicates that Xiaomi wants to hop on the bandwagon of futuristic glasses since the promotional video followed the announcement of Ray-Bans. But as for right now, these glasses might not even exist, so take Xiaomi's words with a grain of salt.
