Description 

 

We are looking for a Data Engineer, for a permanent contract, to join the Amplitude analytics team. Under the supervision of the Lead Data, your main responsibilities will be: 

 

  • Maintain and ensure the operation of our video game telemetry pipeline. 
  • Set up and manage a data hub on Databricks by integrating various data sources. 
  • Collaborate closely with our data analysts to discuss and solve data issues. 
  • Ensure that data systems are optimized in terms of performance and cost. 
  • Find opportunities to employ data science for enhanced comprehension of our player base 

 

Required experience  

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar. 

 

Required skills and profile  

 

  • Fluency in French and proficiency in English. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. 
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and interact with a wide variety of profiles (data analysts, programmers, game designers, etc.) 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in the face of changes in the data field. 
  • Knowledge of AWS services and Databricks is a major plus. 
  • Knowledge of the video games industry is a welcome bonus.
