As an Environment Artist, you are responsible for crafting the visual soul of the game.
Responsibilities:
- End to end creation of large-scale environments from block-out to final set dressing and lighting pass.
- Ability to define and prioritize your own tasks to meet deliverables on time for milestones
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure quality and vision come to life
- Model and texture high quality 3D assets using high to low poly pipelines
- Utilize efficient modular building kits and trim sheets to maximize visual variety while maintain performance
- Create realistic materials and complex layered shaders
- Adhere to technical budgets and naming conventions
- Listen to feedback from stakeholders and translate it into actionable plans
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience with UE 5 and blueprints
- 2+ years working on AAA action RPG titles
- Familiarity with gameplay mechanics in action/adventure/RPG titles
- Solid understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and architectural logic
- Self-motivated, with proactive communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others
- Ability to craft organic and hard-surface sculpting
