The concept artist produces inspiring artworks under the direction of the art director and lead concept artist.
Responsibilities:
- Create artwork for both reference use of the Art team
- Under the guidance of both the Art Director and Lead Concept Artist, contribute to the creation of a style guide covering all artistic aspects of the product
- Required to work with a Project team in Tokyo HQ to mitigate any issues that may arise in the creation of assets
- Provide feedback on general aspects of game design from an artistic perspective
Requirements:
- 5-8+ years of professional experience in gaming or related field
- A portfolio demonstrating outstanding drawing and fine art skill, including: figure drawing, demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of self-direction
- Strong Photoshop/illustration skills
- Must be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure
- Illustration and painting
