We are looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Technical Animator to join our experienced team and bridge the gap between animation and technology.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in the game industry (indie or AAA) as a technical animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills
- Solid understanding of anatomy and character kinematics
- Practical experience with complex animation systems, including state machines and motion matching techniques
- Practical experience maintaining physics systems (ragdoll, cloth), including DCC side simulation
- Practical experience with procedural layers, including runtime additives and Control Rigs
- Practical experience co-authoring cinematic and dialogue sequences for seamless blending into and out of gameplay
- Ability to maintain, debug, and optimize animation systems and assets
- Good knowledge of MotionBuilder or Maya
- Proficiency in Python, MEL, or similar scripting languages for tool development and automation
- Team player with strong communication, task management skills, and a passion for innovative technologies
- Proficiency in English
Good to have:
- Familiarity with C++ and C#
- Practical experience with motioncapture data pipelines
- Shipped at least one AAA project with wellregarded animations
