Job Description:
You will be involved in all technical artist duties related to game production.
- You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Technology development to significantly improve the quality of next-generation graphics (planning, and if possible, implementation including specifications)
- Planning the production infrastructure to improve the production efficiency of designers, developing management systems, and creating tools, etc.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 2 years of work experience in the fields of programming, art, animation, tool development, etc. in game development and video production, and strong technical skills
- Experience developing DCC script tools
Preferred Skills:
Candidates who have acquired multiple of the following skills:
- Able to demonstrate technical ability in areas such as lighting, rendering, and graphics-related programming languages such as shaders
- Familiar with the pipeline for producing character animation assets, and familiar with rig setup and systems for controlling runtime characters
- Have a technical background in operating databases for information management, and be able to embody this in the form of a web application or similar
- Analyze problems in the current workflow, possess the means to make the artist-animator pipeline as efficient as possible, and have the technology to support this
- Experience developing plug-ins for 3D graphics tools, or scripting in Python or similar
- Excellent organizational management skills to be able to act independently and supervise even in a small team
- Proficient in the specifications of advanced 3D graphics software, and be able to anticipate the needs of artists to further streamline productivity
