It might ultimately be proof of concept now, but the point of showing a low-count bounce raytracing that still looks decent especially after denoising gives us a nice roadmap on the future. Maybe given time, we will move to this as the new standard or at least a probable alternate to baked lighting.

The creators of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV CGI movie have released a short video showcasing the work on hair of the films protagonist Nyx Ulric.
They have shown different layers of the hairstyle from the hair line to braids. Kingsglaive makers also published a guide for those Final Fantasy fans who wish to cosplay as Ulric this Halloween. The PDF file contains different references for the character, including his standard outfit, battle gear, weapons, tattoos and armor.
Nyx Ulric is the main character of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. He is a member of Kingsglaive – a group of elite solders that serves the King of Lucis. In the movie he must protect Princess Lunafreya Nox Fleuret of Tenebrae during the invasion of Lucis.
Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV was released on July 9, 2016. The English version of the CGI film features the voice talents of Aaron Paul, Sean Bean and Lena Headey. Most know them as Jesse Pinkman, Ned Stark and Cersei Lannister.
