Technical Art At Ubisoft
Technical artists at Ubisoft discussed the importance of their work. At the beginning they have to create workflow and tools the artists can work with. The technical art director at Ubisoft Paris Benoit Boucher has to make sure that the technology and the pipeline which the tech artists use are solid. They recall that working on the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate video game was particularly hard because they were working on the Thames River and had to make sure that all of the boats and dock pieces were optimized for the project.
