3D environment artist Jordan Clarry has published an Unreal Engine 4 environment inspired by the cyberpunk science fiction genre. Clarry created this project during his third year of studying Games Art and Design at Norwich University of the Arts.
The environment started out an abandoned facility. Judging by the letters on the door, it was located in a futuristic version of New York. The scene then took viewers to a rooftop that opened up a view of a huge city during night time. Here Jordan Clarry demonstrated a police chase and a big cargo plane flying over the building.
The scene had a strong Blade Runner vibe to it. The city featured enormous skyscrapers, heavy air traffic and smog pollution. Jordan put a lot of effort in details: from the small room with a large computer to the sprawling cityscape.
For this Unreal Engine 4 environment he used such software tools as Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Xnormal, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Photoshop. Jordan Clarry specializes on level and material creation as well as high and low polygonal modelling
