From Software celebrates Bloodborne. The latest PS4-game from this Japanese studio managed to sell over 1 million copies in less than three weeks after launch.

Game’s producer Masaaki Yamagiwa tweeted that Bloodborne has sold through more than one million copies. he also thanked the players for making this game such a great hit.

Bloodborne was a real critical darling. The game topped the Japanese sales charts and got a second place in Great Britain, as Eurogamer reports. Either way we can consider Bloodborne a big success, because for a rather hardcore exclusive title 1 million copies in 3 weeks is a great achievement. The game will stay in charts for months to come.

Bloodborne is part of an series of Souls games, developed by From Software. This series started with the release of Demon’s Souls in 2009. Dark Souls 2 sold 1.2 m copies in US and Europe within three weeks of its launch. But it was a multiplatform title for Xbox 360 and PS3.
