Death Trash: A Gritty Post Apocalyptic Pixel Art RPG

Indie game developer Stephan Hövelbrinks is currently working on an unusually gritty and violent role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The project is still early in development, but what we’ve seen so far looks very cool.

Death Trash

Stephan is creating a very strange even bizarre world with gore, witty characters and deserted wastelands. Everything is handmade here. The pixel art looks a bit sloppy, but that’s not the disadvantage. Rather, it’s a special way the author built his world. It feels a bit like old-school SCUMM-quests mixed with Fallout and Mad Max. An incredible combo.

The game has some nice animations, great dialogue and even a battle system to showoff. It’s all very crude and violent, but looks like a lot of fun.

Stephan Hövelbrinks is a one man development army. He works with C#, knows Unity 3D and has a lot of love for the RPG genre. He actually made quite a lot of games and you can check some of them over here.

Can’t wait to see the game in action.
