A Closer Look at Far Cry 6 Characters

Ubisoft Toronto Character team has shared a behind-the-scenes look at some of the Far Cry 6 characters.

Released last October, Ubisoft's action-adventure shooter Far Cry 6 became one of the best games within the series. Thanks to Maryna Chemerys, a 3D Character Artist who was a part of the Ubisoft Toronto Character team on Far Cry 6, we now get a chance to have a closer look at some of the characters.

Apart from Chemerys, the whole team of artists including Alex Sideras, Marco Barrettara, Steve Hong, Denny Borges, Elliot Mallon, and Lead Character Artist Austin Martin took part in creating the characters. All Marmoset renders were done by Alex Sideras.

First, let's take a look at the female version of the main protagonist Dani Rojas. For this character, Maryna Chemerys was responsible for modeling and texturing the head as well as facial expressions while Alex Sideras did the character's hairstyle.

Next, have a look at the former journalist and the leader of the resistance group, Clara García. The whole character including modeling and texturing, facial expressions, hairstyle, and outfit was created by Maryna Chemerys.

Mechanic Philly was also done with the participation of Maryna Chemerys who worked on modeling and texturing his head and facial expressions. The outfit was done by Ubisoft's Senior Character Artist Steve Fabok.

Finally, here's a look at Dani Rojas's friend Lita. Maryna Chemerys created this character's head, facial expressions, and outfit, while the latest textures of the outfit were polished and finalized by the Ubisoft Toronto Character team.

All the characters were done in Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Substance 3D Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag.
