Ian Spriggs revealed one more portrait with visible anatomical features.
3D Character Artist Ian Spriggs, who previously made an amazing 3D character with visible anatomical features, unveiled one more project made in the same style. This time, the artist demonstrated a realistic female portrait with both a usual surface and a visible interior circulatory system network. According to the author, the goal of the portrait is to challenge our notions of portraiture by going beyond the surface into the vast complexity of our bodies.
Much like the previous work, this one was made without using scans. For modeling and texturing, Ian used Maya and Mudbox, with touch-ups in Photoshop. The character was rendered using V-Ray's GPU RTX render engine.
