Ahead of the release of Bethesda's massive space RPG, Starfield, the team has presented three animated shorts titled The Settled Systems, featuring stories from different parts of the game's universe.
Each short video tells a tale of one inhabitant of a colony world and their adventures or misfortunes. The first one is "Supra et Ultra". The story is set in the city of New Atlantis, the capital of the United Colonies, where Kent, a courier pilot, wants to live in the most desirable part of the settled systems. Kent joined the UC Vanguard and worked his way up to the Capital’s elite, but then realizes the adventures off-planet are what he wants.
The second one is titled "Where Hope is Built". An Akila City orphan of the famous Colony War called Vanna wishes to explore the stars and only one thing standing in her way is a broken ship. She's searching for repair parts exploring the city filled with dangers.
Starfield will be released on September 6th for PC and Xbox Series X|S. If you pre-order the deluxe edition of the game, you can start playing five days before the release date.
