Diablo 4, which will be released on October 17, will immerse you in an action-packed RPG adventure that has been brought to life through the collaboration of over 9000 people. Diablo IV will transport you to a world engulfed in ceaseless conflict, where ancient evils loom, posing a dire threat to all that is precious to you.

At its very heart, Diablo IV offers a captivating journey filled with the exhilaration of slaying formidable enemies, acquiring formidable equipment, and forging meaningful connections with both new allies and steadfast companions. Blizzard, the developer behind this game, is dedicated to removing barriers, ensuring that people from all walks of life can effortlessly defend Sanctuary, and fostering a community that stretches far and wide.

Recently, Blizzard stated that they would release Diablo 4 on Steam, marking their second time experimenting with this platform, – the first time, as you might recall, is hard to call a successful launch since Overwatch 2 faced significant backlash from players, resulting in it becoming the lowest-rated game on the platform for some time, – a lot of question arose. Naturally, there were concerns regarding the game's performance on the Steam Deck. While it was possible to run it through Lutris or a Windows installation, neither provided an optimal solution for a seamless experience.

Fortunately, Blizzard has addressed these concerns and announced that Diablo 4 would be officially verified for the Steam Deck starting from its launch day on October 17.

"We can happily say that Diablo IV will be Steam Deck Verified, starting next Tuesday with the launch of the game on Steam and the start of Season of Blood!," wrote Adam Fletcher, Diablo IV Global Community Development Director.

As for now, players who were eagerly anticipating the game on Valve's handheld PC gaming platform can now feel a sense of relief.
