With UDIM support, UV mapping, and texturing workflows become easier, simplifying UV map generation and texture assignment.
Chaos Vantage 2, update 4 highlights four key updates with two of them significantly improving your workflows and taking the realism of your renders to the next level.
The most prominent one introduces support for UDIM textures, a system for dividing texture layout into tiles in UV space used in 3D software to improve the efficiency and quality of texture mapping. Additionally, Vantage is now capable of rendering UDIMs.
Enrich your renders with the V-Ray Decal system support, allowing you to import decal materials or create them directly in Vantage. Add stickers, labels, markings, and graphics onto both flat and cylindrical surfaces and adjust the decal's projection to perfectly align with the object's surface curvature in just a couple of clicks.
