Cool Waves Made With Blender's Proximity Node

Miettinen Jesse continues to impress us with yet another amazing Blender experiment.

3D Artist and Blender enthusiast Miettinen Jesse, a.k.a. Blenderesse, who has already made countless stunning projects that were featured on 80 Level, continues to impress us with yet another amazing project set up in Blender. This time, the artist has made a cool-looking wave simulation using the Proximity node, one of the Geometry Nodes that can compute the closest location on the target geometry. Additionally, commented the author, several procedural textures like Wave, Noise, and Voronoi were used.

Previously, the author had revealed a stunning castle generator, a freezing effect, a tool for scattering pigeons, a wind-blown tree, a Geometry Nodes-powered bridge generator that can adapt to the landscape, and an amazing cottage generator built in Blender. You can find all these projects and more by visiting the artist's Twitter page.
