Fans Spotted PS5 Dev Kit in Hideo Kojima’s New Office

On Sunday, Hideo Kojima shared a tweet showing a picture of what seems to be Kojima Productions’ new office where employees began to move at the end of March. Not long after Kojima posted a tweet, fans spotted a PS5 dev kit in the image which suggests that the developers are using this area to demonstrate prototypes or discuss concepts.

Although it has been rumored that Kojima was working on an Xbox game as his next project, reportedly utilizing Microsoft’s Cloud technology, the new tweet immediately provoked speculation among fans that the studio might be developing a PlayStation 5 title.

Some claim that Kojima Productions might be currently making a sequel to Death Stranding – the news that the project was "in negotiations" was reportedly leaked by Norman Reedus in August 2021. However, we're still to find out what the studio will offer its fans: whether the new game will turn out to be Death Stranding 2, some Xbox title, or even an entirely new IP.

Meanwhile, judging by other photos posted by the game designer, Kojima Productions is still in the unpacking process.
