343 Industries decided to remove seasonal narrative cutscenes from the new seasons of Halo Infinite in order to allocate more resources toward other aspects of the game.
Halo Community Director at 343 Industries, Brian Jarrard, announced on his Twitter that the company has decided to cut seasonal narrative cutscenes from the future seasons of Halo Infinite. The majority of players appear to approve of the decision as it will allow for more focus on other aspects of the game.
Jarrard stated that after reviewing their priorities and resources this year, they chose to allocate more resources towards requested features, content, and other improvements for Halo Infinite. He expressed gratitude for the support of the community, acknowledging that compromise is always difficult, but the fourth season is a significant step forward.
Halo Infinite was absent from Xbox's June presentation, and Xbox explained that the company has plenty of other games to focus on, but they still consider Halo important. The company also commented they have a new generation of specialists who will lead the franchise in the future.
